About Carolina
Hi everybody, I am Carolina Garcia and I am the Spanish interpreter instructor for the CPR/ First Aid classes!
I was born in Medellin, Colombia and moved to the United States at the age of 2. Although I
moved to the States at such a young age and have been here my whole life, Spanish was still my
first language learned. Which goes without saying, I am 100% fluent in Spanish. My parents
always made sure to instill the importance of knowing our mother language and also because
they, along with the rest of my family, only spoke Spanish.
I am excited to be teaching for More Life CPR, as I do have some background in the
medical field. I worked as a medical assistant for two years, from 2017-2019, until I decided to
go back to school to further my education.
I loved my time working as a medical assistant in a
family practice because I am passionate about helping others and it inspired me to work harder
and follow my dream of becoming a Physician Assistant.
I graduated in May 2019 from UNCC
with my Bachelors in Biology.
I am passionate about teaching CPR/ First Aid because being an instructor will allow me to keep up with my skills while making a positive difference.
